After over 10 years as a real estate sales associate with Coldwell Banker, Mariruth Graham takes on the additional responsibility of Director of Talent Acquisition working with Joe and Stefan in the development and implementation of Lifestyles’ recruiting program and strategies. She is tasked with identifying, assessing and assisting with the initial onboarding of the candidates for the 11 offices of the Coldwell Banker Lifestyles in New Hampshire and Vermont.
Prior to joining CBL one of her roles during the 3 seasons as an Assistant Coach at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH) was to recruit talent and communicate with college athletes through email campaigns, maintaining a database and speaking with the recruits. A few years earlier she held a contract position at Hypertherm (Lebanon, NH) in Human Resources helping to fill an immediate need for support in the Recruiting Department. She met with leaders to identify their needs, revamped the interview and phone screen process, scheduled and conducted phone interviews, and reviewed final recommendations with the leaders and within 6 weeks was able reduced assigned open positions by 30%.
Mariruth’s first position in Human Resources was at Ferguson (Newport News, VA) where she was a Corporate Recruiter. She reviewed and screened resumes sourced through on-campus career fairs and by conducting presentations, then interviewed the candidates and provided comments and recommendations to branch managers, ultimately being held accountable for filling requisitions and meeting placement goals for the branches in the Southwest and Midwest.
She joined the Hanover office at Coldwell Banker in 2010 and has been awarded Presidential level accolades each year she has been a sales associate. Having worked on a team and also as a solo agent she understands the importance of being surrounded by motivated and positive people in order to be successful in achieving goals. Her extensive background as an athlete having played at the University of Virginia while getting her degree in Sociology and her many years coaching baseball and softball from youth through the college level helps her to identify the needs of a group and knows how to bring out the best in each individual.
Mariruth is also involved in the community having volunteered her time at the local children’s museum, local youth baseball organization, and the Town of Hanover Parks and Recreation advisory committees. She currently is a Trustee and Chair of the Development Committee at The Howe Library (Hanover, NH) and sits on the board of Upper Valley Nighthawks Baseball (Hartford, VT). She is in her 4th season as the Head Softball coach at Hanover High School.
