Nicole graduated from the University of Massachusetts Cum Laude with a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies. After college, she worked in Boston based shelters and treatment programs, before becoming the Housing Director of Father Bill’s Place in 2000. There, she assisted in leveraging over $50 million for housing solutions. She is a former board member of the Wareham Area Coalition for the Homeless and member of the Asset Management Committee for NeighborWorks of the South Shore.
Nicole and her family purchased a second home in Brownfield, Maine in 2014. After spending vacations and the summers in Maine, her two sons fell in love and begged to move to Maine full time to start a farm where they could work with livestock. After both boys each wrote a two page essay of “Why Move to Maine”, Nicole and her husband had no choice but to move! They sold their Brownfield home and purchased a home in Lovell, permanently moving to Maine in the spring of 2017. Since then, the Fitzgeralds have enjoyed running their farm, “Fitzgeralds Funny Farm”!
Nicole has always had a passion for housing, and in 2020 decided to turn that passion into a career. She is licensed in Maine and New Hampshire, and is ready to serve buyers and sellers. Whether you are looking to live here full-time, or purchase a vacation home, put Nicole’s personal experience along with her attention to detail, dedication, and passion for housing to work for you!
