Steven Lundahl, originally from the Minneapolis area, has been a Concord-area resident since 1988. His diverse professional background includes an impressive career as an internationally performing and recording classical musician, a software engineer, a business owner specializing in retail and software consulting, and a multi-state real estate investor in both single-family and multi-family properties. In 2023, Steven joined the Cowan and Zellers team, which was acquired by Coldwell Banker Lifestyles in 2025. This transition allows Steven to continue offering exceptional real estate services to buyers and sellers, backed by the prestige of the Coldwell Banker brand.

Steven also has a deep history in energy efficiency and sustainability, complemented by his professional designations as a NAR Green Designee and a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). The NAR Green Designation equips real estate professionals with advanced knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability in real estate, while the SRES designation demonstrates his expertise in serving the needs of mature clients.

Previously certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst Professional (BA) and an Envelope Professional (EP), Steven was an advanced-level certified home energy auditor. His work included conducting home energy audits, delivering public presentations on home performance, and educating communities about energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. Additionally, he organized volunteer efforts to install solar hot water systems through a pay-it-forward model and contributed as a software engineer for a company managing the Mass Save energy efficiency program and similar initiatives nationwide.

Steven’s extensive knowledge and professional credentials make him uniquely qualified to assist clients in navigating sustainability and energy efficiency considerations in real estate, as well as providing expert guidance tailored to the unique needs of senior buyers and sellers.

Although Steven no longer actively works in energy efficiency, his past experiences make him a valuable resource. He offers guidance to sellers considering home updates before listing, buyers evaluating a property’s energy efficiency, and homeowners deciding whether to upgrade or move.

With a broad understanding of home performance and energy efficiency, Steven acknowledges the complexity of these topics. While he may not have every answer, he draws from his extensive knowledge and knows where to connect clients with expert resources to address their specific needs.
