Jody grew up in New London, NH, but has lived on the Seacoast for the past 33 years. After 30 years as an executive in the outdoor footwear, apparel, and consumer goods industries, he is “returning” to the business of real estate.

He spent 10 years at The Timberland Company in sales and marketing leadership roles before deciding that extensive travel was not conducive to raising a young family. He then transitioned into real estate, becoming the co-owner of Colby-Linehan Real Estate and Stillwater Properties alongside a partner and his parents, Paul and Ann Linehan. Colby-Linehan, based in New London, focused primarily on residential real estate sales, while Stillwater Properties acquired and developed land and converted buildings into condominiums across New Hampshire.

In 2008, Jody sold Colby-Linehan and went on to found an outdoor footwear company that designed, developed, and commercialized its GoLite brand of trail running and lifestyle footwear. The company later evolved into a domestic manufacturer utilizing robotics to produce footwear for major U.S. brands. He sold that business in 2016 and, for the last decade, has worked directly with or consulted for consumer goods brands as an investor and executive.

Now, Jody is excited to return to his real estate roots. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. His favorite way to spend time is with his wife and adult children in Colorado, doing all of those outdoor activities—which he considers paradise.

Jody’s extensive business development experience will serve his clients well in commercial, land, and residential real estate investments.
